“I know what I want to improve.
I don’t know where to start.”

First introductory consultationFREE · $0No obligation to continue

You don’t need to understand data tools to have a useful conversation. Bring a business question: more sales, fewer manual tasks, clearer costs or more reliable reports.

01 / YOUR GOAL

What would make a difference?

Tell us which decision, problem or opportunity matters most to your business.

02 / YOUR SITUATION

What do you have today?

We discuss the systems and reports you already use and where the team gets stuck.

03 / A POSSIBLE NEXT STEP

Where could we help?

Clarify whether a review, a project, ongoing support or a deeper consultation makes sense.

This is an introductory conversation. Detailed data analysis, a technical audit or written solution design would be scoped separately.

Example 01 / A focused revenue review

“People visit.
Why don’t more of them buy?”

Illustrative planning range$5,950–7,650Estimated delivery: 2–3 weeks

The store gets visitors and orders. The owner wants to understand where potential sales disappear and which improvement deserves the next test.

WHAT WE WORK WITH

One question. Two ready exports.

Web analytics and order data covering up to six months, supplied in an agreed format. The review uses existing analytical tools.

  • Check the measurements and agree on the funnel.
  • Compare the path to purchase by device and channel.
  • Identify gaps, investigate differences and prioritize tests.
WHAT YOUR TEAM RECEIVES

A clearer next move.

A practical findings report with supporting numbers, data limitations and prioritized opportunities to investigate.

The decision it supports: which checkout step or customer journey to test before increasing the advertising budget.

Data engineerPrepare, reconcile and check the supplied data24$110.50/h$2,652
Calculated example72USD$6,120

Hours are shared across the team. The $5,950–7,650 planning range allows for differences in the agreed scope and data preparation; it is not a fixed quote.

A practical starting point: understand one sales question before committing to a larger implementation.

Example 02 / Analytics your team can use every day

“By the time we finish the report,
the numbers have changed.”

Illustrative planning range$26,350–30,600Estimated delivery: 5–7 weeks

Sales, marketing and stock figures live in different systems. The team repeatedly exports spreadsheets, reconciles totals and rebuilds the same report.

A DEFINED IMPLEMENTATION

Three sources. Daily updates.

One sales system containing orders and product cost data, one advertising account and one inventory source. Up to 12 months of available history.

  • Agree on the business definitions and prepare the data flows.
  • Build three reporting views: sales and customers; marketing and contribution; inventory and sales pace.
  • Configure access, update checks and handover training.
WHAT YOUR TEAM RECEIVES

A shared view of the business.

A working reporting setup with daily refreshes, documented metrics and a team that understands how to use it.

The decisions it supports: which products and channels leave more contribution after agreed costs, whether customers return, and which stock needs a closer look.

How the example adds up

The roles contribute at different stages. Estimated team hours are not a promise that four specialists will work full-time for the entire delivery period.

A repeatable process: a foundation for investigating opportunities and measuring the changes your business makes.

Example 03 / Monthly analytics support

“Keep the numbers reliable.
Help us use them.”

Illustrative monthly budget$3,808 / month40 team hours per month

You already have pipelines and reports. You need someone to keep an eye on data quality, resolve issues and help the team turn the numbers into decisions.

DATA ENGINEER / 24 HOURS

Keep data flowing.

Check agreed pipeline updates and data quality, investigate failures, fix issues and make minor adjustments within the existing setup.

ANALYST / 16 HOURS

Keep the answers useful.

Validate key metrics, maintain existing reports, investigate agreed business questions and prepare a monthly findings summary.

Example for an existing analytics setup. Priorities, working hours and response expectations are agreed in advance. New integrations, major rebuilds and cloud or software fees are scoped separately; this example does not include 24/7 coverage.

A monthly rhythm: reliable data and a specialist to help you understand what changed.

Example 04 / Optional focused consultation

“Before we invest,
help us choose the right direction.”

Illustrative consultation budget$5106 team hours including preparation

After the free introduction, you may want a deeper review of one specific question: which metrics to track, how to connect your data or what an initial analytics setup should include.

A FOCUSED QUESTION

Prepare. Discuss. Recommend.

An analyst reviews the business context and available materials. A data engineer checks the relevant technical constraints. Together, we discuss the options with you.

A PRACTICAL TAKEAWAY

A brief plan for the next step.

Written recommendations covering the agreed question, key assumptions and a possible next step. Implementation and detailed system audits are separate.

Six hours means total specialist effort, including preparation and follow-up; it is not a six-hour call. This paid work is optional and only starts after scope and price are agreed. Your first introductory consultation remains free.

The assumptions behind these examples

What does an hour actually mean?

The US salary benchmark and the rate used to estimate a project are different numbers. Here is the basis used for these examples.

Analyst

$72.25/ hour in the example

US salary equivalent: about $42/h.
Annual base salary: $87,133.

Data engineer

$110.50/ hour in the example

US salary equivalent: about $66/h.
Annual base salary: $136,692.

Developer

$110.50/ hour in the example

US salary equivalent: about $65/h.
Annual base salary: $136,107.

Indeed benchmark ↗

DevOps engineer

$110.50/ hour in the example

US salary equivalent: about $65/h.
Annual base salary: $134,806.

Indeed benchmark ↗

A transparent estimate, not a market-rate claim.

The salary figures are Indeed US average base-salary benchmarks updated October 12, 2026. Hourly salary equivalents divide annual base pay by 2,080 hours and exclude bonuses.

The illustrative project rates are $72.25/hour for an analyst and $110.50/hour for the other roles. They are approximately 1.7 times the salary equivalent, allowing for company operating costs and margin. That multiplier is a planning assumption. These are not measured US contractor averages or a published BI Forge rate card.

Before choosing a budget

What could change the estimate?

What assumptions do these timelines rely on?

Ready access to the agreed data, available source history, timely feedback and a stable scope. Source restrictions, missing tracking or extensive data repair can change the work and delivery estimate.

What is priced separately?

Cloud hosting, paid licenses and API usage are separate from the labor budgets. Ongoing support is only included when explicitly agreed, as in the monthly support example. Additional implementation work is scoped separately.

Are these completed client projects?

These are illustrative project scopes and budget calculations. They are not client case studies, binding quotes or promises of increased revenue. Your final scope and price depend on your systems, data and business question.
